A boy who longs for adventure and glory. His dream is to one day become an airship pilot and soar through the blue skies of Altera.

Upon reading Kevin's dialogue and commissions, the player learns that his father, an adventurer, died when he was young, leaving him with only his mother. In place of his father, Hubert watches after him. The two have a close bond, to the point where Kevin calls Hubert his Uncle.

Friendship

To befriend Kevin, you must complete the quest The Invisible Man. Giving gifts to Kevin increases Fondness Points with Hubert, and vice versa, while increasing aversion with the Invisible Thief. Giving gifts to Irine also increases Kevin's Fondness. Between 30 and 50 fondness points, Kevin gifts a pair of goggles that reportedly help increase fondness. The gifts Kevin like are:

That was a pretty big shock, finding out my dad was just an engineer and an adventurer. The adventurer part is kinda cool, I guess, but why did he have to be a stinky ol' engineer? That's so boring! I bet if my dad had been a pilot, he could have gotten me one of those awesome hats. You miss your daddy? (+1.00 Fondness) Huh! N-no! Not at all! (Kevin puffs his chest out.) My mom said only five-year-olds cry and say they miss their daddies. Since I'm a big, tough man, I don't cry about baby stuff like that. But... Sometimes, I see him in my dreams. My daddy gives me a piggy-back ride and even lets me ride the airship with him. Hee hee... (Kevin looks at his father's ring.) Hey, engineers are cool, too. (+/- ?.?? Fondness) Pfft, whatever. I think Hubert is kinda like my uncle. He's cool sometimes, and looks out for me, but sometimes he nags me so much! I hate that! Oh, that reminds me...his birthday is coming soon. What should I get him? Hmm... Get him a nice Alteran Punch. (+0.67 Fondness) Ooh, that's a good idea! That stuff is super good, too. I think I've seen him drink that before. I think it was Alteran Punch...he drank a couple bottles and then got really silly. He must love it! Um, I'm not sure that was Alteran Punch... Oh, really? Then maybe I should get him what he was drinking. Do you know where I can get some? I don't know if I can afford enough bottles of it, though. He drank a LOT... (Kevin starts counting his copper.) Oh, meat pie! Meat pie is, like, the best food in the whole world! I mean, Alteran Punch is good too, but meat pie totally beats it. Hey...can you make meat pie with Alteran Punch...inside? What are you afraid of?

Me? I'm not afraid of anything! A super awesome airship pilot doesn't have time to be scared. But I know what everyone else is scared of. Like, I know Hubert is scared of something called "gremlins". I've never seen one, but he said they can get in an airship and make the whole thing crash! Sometimes I hear him shouting, "It's on the wing! It's on the wing!" Crazy, huh? Yeah. Maybe he IS nuts. Oh, and May is scared of people finding out that she mixes mushrooms into her potions, 'cause the healing herbs are too expensive, she said. I guess the mushrooms make people feel good or confused or something, so they don't notice that the potion doesn't work. Isn't that funny? ...What? She does what?! I guess...maybe...we'll, I'm kinda scared of math. All those numbers getting mashed up and turned into other numbers... I mean, why does 3 plus 4 have to equal 7? Maybe 3 and 4 want to be their own numbers! Maybe they just want to be 34 instead! (Kevin looks up at you sheepishly.) Okay, that's kind of a dumb fear. Forget that one. Doesn't count. Heh. But remember, it's a SECRET. Y'know, you're probably the only person in Carderock who hasn't told me what they're scared of. So, what is it? Monsters? I bet it's monsters. Oh, yeah. I guess 'cause they're so big and mean and dangerous and kill lots of people. But I always tell people, "Don't be afraid of a big cow! Even if it has a giant axe!" Because, like, if you get really super strong and fast, you can run right around them and punch them in the nose, or, or, kick them in the butt! That'll show 'em! Besides, everyone is always trying to get MORE money! What, do you just run from it or something? Weirdo. No, see, it's more like I'm afraid of NOT having money. Ohhh, okay. That makes a lot more sense. I know a few people like that. And my parents used to fight about money sometimes. Seems like we'd be better off without it, ya know?
